Partners for a Healthy Baby

The Training Institute strives to increase the capacity, quality, and effectiveness of home visiting. More than 3500 outreach staff who provide home visiting services to high-risk pregnant women and their families have been trained throughout the U.S. In addition to the training, more than a quarter million curricula have been distributed to home visiting programs such as Early Head Start, Healthy Start, and Healthy Families. When asked to rate the quality of The Partners for a Healthy Baby Curriculum, 300 home visitors rated the materials as very good to excellent (96%). The effectiveness of the handouts was also rated very high. The curricula handouts are also published in Spanish.
