Delivering maternal and child health and early education services through a home visiting model provides a unique opportunity to step into a family's world and connect your services to their needs. This one-day training will introduce the joys and challenges specific to providing services in the home. Home Visitors will explore how they can CHEER on families through their roles of Coach, Health/Early Childhood Educator, Empowerer/Advocate, Example, and Resource Broker while meeting their program's goals. Throughout the day, participants will also learn ways to keep themselves physically and emotionally safe and well.
